Dorcas Ii Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on traditional fabric in bulk, which will reinforce her starting capital.

Dorcas Ii Group's story

Madame Jeanette is a client of the microfinance institution Hekima and is the treasurer of the "DORCAS Il" business group. She is married, 51 years old, and the mother of 10 children who all go to school. Her partner is a shopkeeper.

She sells diverse clothing. She began this business in 1995 with startup funds from her husband. Later, she involved Hekima to support her business, over the course of which she has progressively evolved. With this new loan, she is going to stock up on traditional fabric in bulk, which will reinforce her starting capital. The challenge of her business is linked to the customers' insolvency.

She would like for her children to continue to go to school and for her to develop her business. Finally, she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for the support brought to owners of non-cash businesses in the context of the COVID-19 global crisis. The photo is only of the group leader due to COVID-19 out of respect for social distancing measures.
