Gulnara's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy dairy cows to increase her cattle headcount and sales of organic milk.

Gulnara's story

The 42-year-old Gulnara is married, with small children. College-educated, she teaches in a local school. She is industrious, goal-oriented, and enterprising by nature, is well familiar with agricultural techniques, and knows how to use resources for their intended purpose. She has been raising livestock since 2011, to supplement her family's income. Thanks to her hard work and responsible approach, she has been able to develop her farm, so that it now consists of eight cows, ten sheep, seven horses, and a 0.9-hectare plot of irrigated land on which she grows alfalfa.

In order to develop her business further. Gulnara has turned to Bai Tushum Bank for a loan of 73,200 som (KGS), to buy dairy cows. Her goal in this is to increase her sales of organic milk and her cattle-breeding income. She is planning to put the income generated by the loan toward her farm's ongoing development.
