Kuña Mbarete Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy vegetables, chicken, ham, cheese, eggs, and more.

Kuña Mbarete Group's story

This group is called "Kuña Mbarete", which means "strong woman", since this is what they are: women who seek a way to help their loved ones. They are a part of the poverty stoplight program, where they all fight to improve themselves and get ahead.

One of them is Liz, who works selling healthy foods. She is very good at what she does, and for this reason has an established customer base. Her goal is to expand in order to generate more income to help her loved ones. She is a persistent person who does not give up, and seeks a way to keep her family from lacking anything.

She is requesting this loan to buy raw ingredients to make her foods, such as vegetables, chicken, ham, cheese, eggs, and other products to continue with her work as she has been doing.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo, but this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo while avoiding gatherings of people during the COVID-19 pandemic.
