Rodah's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy different varieties of cereals from farmers and resell them at a profit.

Rodah's story

Rodah, 47, a caring mother of 3 school-going children, moves from pillar to post in search of success. She is a forward-looking person who always bounces back, even after being knocked down by setbacks. She never quits.

Rodah lives in Eldoret, a town that hosts a number of elite athletes in Kenya. Here she practices mixed crop and dairy farming.

Rodah has decided to borrow a loan that she will use to buy different varieties of cereals from local farmers and sell them to her customers and at the local market. Through this engagement, she will earn a profit that she intends to use to repay the loan and improve her standard of living. This loan is, therefore, an opportunity that she never had before.

Rodah’s irregular income and lack of collateral were the main drawbacks that limited her from accessing a loan from the commercial banks. Thanks to Juhudi Kilimo and Kiva, the life of this woman will be changed through this loan.
