Mujeres Activas Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase a variety of clothing to sell and a variety of ice cream to sell.

Mujeres Activas Group's story

The group named Mujeres Activas is in its 6th loan cycle in the women's committee program where they all work and help each other get ahead. They are completing the poverty elimination questionnaire.

Among them, Leoncia stands out. She works selling clothing and ice cream, which will help her to improve her income and her quality of life. It is through her work that she has been able to get her loved ones ahead and give them everything she was unable to have.

Leoncia defines herself as an enterprising person who, despite the difficulties, has not given up and seeks the way to be able to continue improving and getting ahead.

She asks for this loan to purchase a variety of clothing to sell and a variety of ice cream to sell and, with this, to be able to continue with her work as she has been doing.

Note: There is only one person in the photo, but this is a group loan. A group photo was not possible to prevent the gathering of people due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
