Melida Eudocia's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy eggs, milk, spices, disposable containers, bags, etc.

Melida Eudocia's story

Melida Eudocia and her family live in Portoviejo, a city affected by the earthquake on April 16, 2016 and now also with the covid-19 pandemic. The city is rich in the production of vegetables, legumes and tropical fruits for local consumption.

Melida Eudocia, due to her advanced age, left the sales of automotive parts in the hands of her daughter. She now prepares and sells artisan desserts with her granddaughter. They make traditional dishes including "dulce de leche, moyo eggs, suspiros, alfajores", etc.

The health crisis at the beginning was very bad since she could not sell. But now, little by little, she is reactivating it in order to continue generating an income.

With this loan she will buy eggs, milk, spices, disposable containers, bags, etc. Her dream is that her family stay healthy and that her business continues to grow.
