Jessica Alexandra's story

Jessica Alexandra and her family live in La Pila de Montecristi. It is a place that is very well-known in the province and country because of its rich traditional culture, but it has also seen itself greatly impacted by the effects of covid 19 on its economy and loss of lives.

She is an industrious woman who, together with her husband, is working hard to face this tough situation brought on by the healthcare emergency. They are managing to do so, thanks to the loans that help them to finance their business.

They have a shop just outside their house, where they sell hammocks, hats, folding lounge chairs, and other handcrafted items. For them, the situation put them in a very difficult spot during the quarantine, since they couldn't sell, but now, after this step, they have begun to sell with more normalcy; and despite sales not being as they were before, they are managing to earn their living.

This loan is to buy hammocks, hats, and other handcrafted items.
