Mercy's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy farming inputs, like high-quality seeds and nutrient-rich fertilizers, to boost farm yields.

Mercy's story

Mercy is a 35-year old single mother of one child from Bomet, a town that hosts elite Kenyan athletes. She has learned a range of new farming practices that improve sustainability, enhance resilience, and are likely to be helpful in adapting to climate change. Her main source of income is mixed farming, work that she has practiced for the last eight years, enabling her to comfortably support her child.

In the modern world, agriculture has become exceedingly dynamic, therefore upgrading the kind of inputs that are being used in the sector today. On this note, there is a need to use improved farming inputs for effective production. These include high-quality seeds and nutrient-rich fertilizers.

Mercy has learned that Juhudi Kilimo is assisting with the activities of rural, smallholder farmers and is giving them financial support in the form of loans to enable them to access income-generating assets as well as farming inputs. She will use this loan to purchase farming inputs such as high-quality seeds and nutrient-rich fertilizers, which she will use on her farm to boost her yields.

Please lend to this industrious woman so that she can save for her child's education.
