Maria Cecibel's story

Maria Cecibel and her family live in the canton of Jipijapa, known by the name of the Sultana of Coffee, and a place greatly affected by the health emergency caused by COVID-19.

She is a hardworking woman who seeks the way to earn her resources and, so, to get ahead with her child since she is both mother and father. Although things are difficult due to the pandemic, she continues on and it is thanks to the loans that she can continue.

On the weekends, she sets up a meat stall in a market in the city of Guayaquil. There, she sells beef and pork. The days of the quarantine affected her greatly since she was unable to travel and sell, and so it was for many days. But once she could travel, she is again earning a living from her business and this is thanks to the loans.

This loan is to purchase beef and pork for daily sale.
