Arome Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on pagnes in bulk, which will build up her initial capital.

Arome Group's story

Yvette is a client of the Hekima microfinance institution and is in charge of the Arome village group. She is single and 37 years old. She does not have any children.

She sells pagnes [traditional, colorful cloth used as garments.] She started this business 10 years ago with startup capital received from Hekima, to support her business. In this time, she has evolved progressively. With this new loan, she will stock up on pagnes in bulk, which will build up her initial capital. The challenge of her job is linked to governmental taxes.

She would like to buy a plot of land. Finally, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they bring to owners of unbanked businesses, in the context of the global crisis linked to COVID-19. The photo is only of the leader of the group due to COVID-19, in respect of social distancing measures.
