Gentille's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to introduce new items in her shop.

Gentille's story

Gentille is a well-known entrepreneur living in Mugombwa refugee camp. She runs the most visited grocery store in the camp. The grocery store has different products ranging from cereals to staple foods and home utilities. Gentille wants to constantly learn how to make the business flourish and so she decided to attend the AEC/Inkomoko training to equip her with entrepreneurship skills.

Gentille has since taken three loans with kiva which she has fully paid back. All the loans helped her expand her business in terms of premises and also diversify the products offered. Gentille's business has helped take care of her family expenses and she was able to take her children to school. Another loan to Gentille will enable her to introduce new items in her shop and add more cereals to become a wholesaler to other shops. She is positive that she will also be among the biggest wholesalers of cereals in Mugombwa refugee camp.
