Guerison Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy potatoes, oil, eggs and chicken to boost her initial capital.

Guerison Group's story

Jeacqueline is a customer of the MFI Hekima and president of the village group Guerison. She is 34 years old, married and the mother of four children; three are in school and one is a baby. Her partner is a motorcycle driver.

She sells food items in her restaurant, a business she launched 10 years ago with startup funds from her husband. Later she got involved in Hekima's program to support her business, which has grown steadily. Jeacqueline will use this new loan to buy potatoes, oil, eggs and chicken to boost her initial capital. The main challenge of her business is the lack of customers.

Jeacqueline would like to be able to feed her family and for her children to continue their education. Lastly, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they are providing to unbankable companies during this global Covid-19 crisis.

The photo is of only the group leader because of Covid-19 and compliance with social distancing measures.
