A loan helped to purchase Yanbal products and clothing.

Mayra Alejandra's story

Mayra Alejandra and her family live in Portoviejo, the city affected by the earthquake on April 16th, 2016 and now affected by the Covid-19 Pandemic. The city is rich in its production of vegetables, legumes, and tropical fruit for domestic consumption.

Mayra Alejandra used to sell encebollados [a fish soup] but with the worldwide crisis she is now selling products from the Yanbal catalogs (beauty products, cosmetics, perfumes and women's accessories). She also sells clothing for men, women and children. She works three days a week, two or three hours a day. She leaves her products on credit and charges every eight days.

This loan is to purchase Yanbal products and clothing. Her dream is to have a healthy family and that her business continues growing.
