Martha Floresmila's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to make orders for different styles of children's sheets, young people's sheets, etc.

Martha Floresmila's story

Martha Floresmila and her family live in Portoviejo, a city affected first by the April 16, 2016 earthquake and now also by the COVID-19 pandemic. The city is rich in the production of vegetables, legumes, and tropical fruit for domestic consumption.

Martha Floresmila works hard selling sheets of different sizes, colors, designs, etc. She sells them in the community two or three times a week, and also sells from her home. She offers credit and collects weekly.

During this global crisis she has suffered financial hardship. Her customers are unable to pay her because they are unemployed. Some have died. At first, the health crisis was very hard on her because she could no longer make sales, but now, little by little, she is starting back up in order to keep generating her income.

This loan will be used to order different styles of sheets for children, sheets for young people, etc. Her dream is to have her own shop to continue selling sheets, and for her family not to fall ill.
