Letty Iralda's story

Letty Iralda lives with her family in Portoviejo, a city affected by the April 16 2016 earthquake and now by COVID 19. The city produces vegetables, pulses and tropical fruits for local consumption. Letty Iralda runs a small, well-stocked variety store from her house. Her clients come to buy catalog products from Yanbal, Avon (beauty products, cosmetics, perfumes and women's accessories), and Azzorti (beauty products, personal care products, clothes and household items) which she keeps in a small display case. In addition, she sells school supplies and household items. The pandemic affected her greatly, as she wasn't able to make any sales, but now her business is gradually recovering and she will be able generate an income. This loan is to purchase cosmetics, school supplies, and various household items. Her dream is to grow her business and for her family to be in good health.
