Mervedi Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy four bags of beans, two bags of corn and one bag of soybeans which will boost her initial capital.

Mervedi Group's story

Esperence is a customer of the MFI Hekima and president of the village group Mervdei. She is 33 years old, married and the mother of five children; three are in school and two are still babies. Her partner is a businessman.

Esperence sells food products, a business she launched four years ago with startup funds from her husband. Later, she got involved with Hekima's program to support her business, which has grown steadily. She is going to use this new loan to buy four bags of beans, two bags of corn and one bag of soybeans to boost her initial capital. The main challenge for her business is related to government taxes.

Esperence would like to be able to feed her family, and for her children to continue their education. Lastly, she wants to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they provide to unbankable companies during this global Covid-19 crisis.

The photo is only of the group's leader because of Covid-19 and compliance with social distancing measures.
