Ujio Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock three bales of used clothing, bolstering her initial capital.

Ujio Group's story

Ms. Dorcas is a customer of IMF Hekima and the chair of the Ujio village group. She is married, 43 years old and the mother of three children, all of whom are or have been in school. Her husband is an electrician.

Dorcas works selling used closing. She launched this business five years ago with starting funds received from her husband. Later Dorcasjoined the Hekima program to support her business, and has been growing it steadily.

With this new loan, Dorcas will stock three bales of used clothing, reinforcing her initial capital. Her business challenges are linked to the dollar exchange rate. She would like to see her children continue their studies and also to buy a land plot. In conclusion, Dorcas would like to thank Hekima and its partners for supporting entrepreneurs who lack financing, especially at this time of a global crisis caused by Covid-19. Only the group leader appears in the photo due to Covid-19 social distancing measures.
