Sokonthea's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase the ACE One energy system in order to have access to solar power for lighting, charging and cooking in a way that is safer, cleaner and saves money.

Sokonthea's story

Sokonthea is a 46-year-old woman who lives in a traditional hut with access to electricity, with 5 other family members.

Sokonthea works as a secondary school teacher but struggles with gas and energy expenses. She spends a total of USD 35 a month on all of her fuel and electricity expenses.

Sokonthea bought the ACE One cookstove to help her family to save the money they spend every month on fuel, and also to help them to access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time for free. The ACE One clean cookstove is biomass and solar powered.
