Rugwasane Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on juice, Omo detergent, rice, flour and sugar to strengthen her initial capital.

Rugwasane Group's story

Rosette is a client with the microfinance institution Hekima and represents the village group Rugwasane. She is 47 years old, married and has nine children who all go to school; her partner is a teacher.

She established her business selling various products in her shop 5 years ago using start-up funds she got from her husband. Later she got involved with the Hekima program to support her business, which has been developing progressively. With this new loan, she will stock up on juice, Omo detergent, rice, flour and sugar, which will strengthen her initial capital. The challenge of her business is linked to the lack of customers.

She would like her children to continue their studies and wishes to renovate her house. Finally, she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for the support shown to business owners without access to traditional banking facilities in the context of the global crisis caused by covid-19.
