Paola Lorenza is in a common law marriage and has two young children with her husband. He is a mason. They live in the town of Jipijapa, known as the "Sultan of Coffee" because of its coffee-growing tradition. The area has been very affected by Covid-19.

Paola is a very hardworking woman who, despite difficulties, seeks a way to move forward. Thanks to loans she is able to do this, as they allow her to finance her business. She has a grocery store in her house, which is now better stocked. During the quarantine her stock ran out, and various products were damaged. Later, she was able to reopen and sell again. Even though she is afraid, she continues on as this is how she knows to make a living.

This loan is to buy products such as rice, sugar, oil, etc. Paola hopes to continue in good health, and to continue counting on the help of loans.
