Alba Carmen's story

Alba Carmen, 40, is married and has three children, 2 adults and a thirteen year old. Her husband is a merchant, and the family lives in the Jipijapa Canton, which is known as the Coffee Bean because of its coffee-growing tradition. The Canton has been severely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Alba Carmen is a hardworking woman who, along with her husband, is doing whatever is necessary to confront this difficult situation caused by the pandemic. She sells fans, pots, plates, knives, plastic storage containers, and many more homeware items. The beginning of the pandemic was very difficult for her because she could not sell very much from her home, but things are improving now, and Alba is gaining more sales.

This loan is to buy pots, plates, knives, plastic storage containers, and other homeware items.
