Hendriana Carolina's story

Hendriana Carolina is a 22-year-old micro-entrepreneur who is a resident of the city of Cartagena. Her service-based business is repairing cell phones and selling parts and accessories. She has been running the business for over two years.

Hendriana Carolina is a Venezuelan citizen who emmigrated from her country five years ago due to the economic situation they're going through. She came to Colombia wanting to start a better life, and she started her business with some savings.

Hendriana Carolina currently has one employee who helps her with technical support. This contributes to job creation and income for families.

Because of the global COVID-19 pandemic, her cashflow decreased due to biosafety issues.

Nevertheless, she's in the process of reviving her operations. For this reason, she connected with the Cartagena Responde Program, lead by a chamber of commerce, to seek her first Kiva credit with the Santo Domingo foundation.

Her goal is to invest in the purchase of chargers, headphones, earbuds, cellphone parts, and batteries. Support her with her loan for her business.
