Felix Antonio's story

Felix Antonio is a 51-year-old micro-businessman. He is a resident of the city of Cartagena and he has a store as a business. He sells grocery items, produce and beverages, with more than 2 years in operation. At first, he sold merchandise, but with some additional savings, he invested in supplies for a small store. After seeing the positive results, he decided to continue with this business, which has had very good sales. It has had a positive impact on the community, because it contributes to the neighborhood economy. Felix Antonio has the goal of increasing his business sales and to own his own locale. To achieve this, he constantly works hard with love and responsibility so that every day, his business will be well known and get referrals. However, due to the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, his cash flow went down because of bio-safety reasons. Nonetheless, he is in the process of reactivating his operations and that is why he joined the Cartagena Responde program, led by the chamber of commerce. It is to ask for his first Kiva loan with the Fundación Santo Domingo in order to invest in working capital. He wants to increase his inventory of grocery items like rice, vegetables, cooking oil, produce and beverages. Support him in his business loan.
