Mirian Yaqueline's story

Mirian Yaqueline and her family live in Tosagua, a productive canton that grows cacao, coffee, plantains, corn and other produce. Their cuisine is well-known throughout the area; their main dish is fried and roasted "chame" (a local fish).

Through a lot of effort, Mirian Yaqueline has been continuing selling clothing. She makes her sales to family members, friends and referrals by going door-to-door and also by selling from her home. She leaves her merchandise on credit and collects payments on a weekly basis.

Mirian Yaqueline has gone through financial hardship during this worldwide crisis. Her customers can't pay her because they have lost their jobs, and others have passed away. At first the health crisis was very bad for her, and she couldn't make her sales. But now, little by little, she is reviving her business and able to continue generating an income.

This loan is for the purchase of clothing orders in various sizes. Mirian Yaqueline's hopes are to have a shop set up in her home and for her family to be in very good health.
