Verónica Paola's story

Verónica Paola and her family live in Portoviejo. The city was struck by an earthquake on April 16, 2016 and now by the COVID-19 pandemic. .

Verónica Paola earns her living selling all types of clothing for women, men and children. Her method of selling is to visit her family, friends and neighbours going house to house. She also sells from her house where she has a space with a variety of clothing. She leaves the merchandise on credit and collects every week. She has seen economic difficulties during this world-wide crisis. Her customers could not pay as they were left unemployed and others died. At the start of the medical crisis it was very bad as she could not sell. But now little by little things are picking up and she can continue to generate her income.

This loan will be used to buy orders of jeans, shorts, t-shirts, pyjamas, etc. Her dream is to enjoy good health and for her business to continue to grow.
