Ximena Elizabeth's story

Ximena Elizabeth is 36 years old. She is a single mother of 2 children, 16 and 13 years old. They study at school. They live in their own home. They live in Portoviejo, a city affected by an earthquake on the 16th of April, 2016 and now by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Ximena Elizabeth sells Azzorti catalogue products, (beauty products, personal care, clothes and home). Leonisa (women’s lingerie, corsets, swimsuits and men's underwear). She works three days a week, two to three hours a day. She lets her products be sold on credit and charges money every eight days.

During this worldwide crisis, she has gone through financial difficulties. Her customers cannot pay her because they have been left unemployed and others have died. At the start the health crisis was very bad and she could not sell but now little by little she is reviving it so that she can continue to make an income.

This loan is to buy creams, costume jewellery and clothes, etc. Her dream is to have more sales and to continue supporting her family.
