Juana Lucciola's story

Juana, age 73, is married and has five adult children. Her husband does not work. They live in Manta, a pretty place where the people are very humble and hardworking.

Juana is an enterprising woman who every day seeks the means to support household expenses. For several years, she has had a business, a mini-bazaar, where she sells clothing, costume jewelry, paper items, and household goods. She sells in the living room of her house, using display cases and stands where she exhibits her products, in view of the public.

However, her business was affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and her sales decreased. That is why now she is requesting a loan to be able to reactivate and to continue generating necessary income.

She will invest this loan in the purchase of clothing, costume jewelry, school supplies, and other items. Her dream is that her business will progress.
