Angelica Yajaira's story

Angelica Yajaira is 39 years old, married, and has three children who are 18, 16 and 10 years old. They are in university, high school and elementary school. Her husband is retired from the military. They live in the city of Portoviejo which suffered an earthquake on April 16, 2016 and has now been hit by the Covid-19 pandemic. It is a city rich in the production of vegetables, legumes, and tropical fruits for national consumption.

Angelica has a space with embroidery machines in her house. Her customers have her embroider names, logos, insignias, personalized figures, etc. She works every day filling her customers' orders.

At the beginning, the pandemic was very bad for Angelica because she couldn't open her shop or tend to her customers. Now, little by little, she is reactivating her business in order to continue generating income.

This loan is to buy various colors of thread, interfacing, hats, shirts, etc. Angelica's dream is to have more embroidery machines, and that her family have very good health.
