Susana Monserrate's story

Susana Monserrate and her family live in Portoviejo, which was affected by the 2016 Ecuador earthquake and is currently being affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. The city is rich in the production of vegetables, legumes and tropical fruit for domestic consumption.

Susana Monserrate sells clothing and shoes via catalogue from various brands. She sells these items door to door, and her customers are always buying. She makes these sales on a credit basis with weekly payments. At the beginning, the health crisis put her in a bad state since she could not make any sales, but now, little by little, she is restarting her business so that she can continue generating income. This loan is to buy orders of T-shirts, pajamas, children’s outfits, shoes, etc.

Susana Monserrate’s dream is to open a store in her home, and she also wants her family to continue in good health.
