Mercedes Amada is 53 years old, in a common-law marriage, her children are now adults, and her spouse is a fisherman. They live in Puerto López, a place of lovely beaches visited by many tourists and which are now deserted due to the emergency caused by COVID-19.

She is a hardworking woman who seeks the way to earn her resources and, so, to help her spouse get ahead in this pandemic. She has a grocery store in her house. There, she sells rice by the quintal, and also containers and other plastic products. For her, at first the health crisis was very bad since she was unable to sell and so some products were damaged, causing losses. But, later she was able to open her business and, so, she continues. Although she is scared of getting sick, she does it since it is in this way that she earns her resources.

This loan is to purchase products such as rice, milk, sugar, etc.
