Duhuzibikorwa Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more fishnets to help in her fish farming.

Duhuzibikorwa Cb Group's story

Jeannette is a 38-year-old mother of five children aged between 13 and 21 years. Her husband is a farmer, and for the past 10 years, she has been into the fish farming.

Jeannette is the leader of the group called Duhuzibikorwa CB (which in English means “work together”). Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Jeannette will use her loan to buy more fishnets to help in her fish farming and also to be able to meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to pay school fees for the children and also provide for the family. In the future, Jeannette is planning to expand her business.

She is thankful for your support.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to get a photograph of all the group members, but was able to photograph one representative.
