01_Deggo Liggey Diogo Group's story

Made up of ten brave women, this group was created in January 2011. They live in the same village, are united, and share good relationships. Their main business is sales. This is their first funding received from the Institution.

Rokhaya is the president. She is 60 years old and sitting in the photo. She is married and a mother of ten children, including one daughter. They are all adults and married.

Rokhaya works in vegetable sales. She gets her stock from market gardens and sells at the village market. She also has a general food store at her home. She has been successful and has more than 20 years of good experience in this sector.

She is going to buy bags of vegetables (cabbage, potatoes, carrots, eggplants, and others) that she will resell at affordable prices. Her business is going well, and she has loyal customers.

Her profits allow her to contribute to managing her family and improving their well-being.
