A loan helped to buy beans and maize.

Abadahemuka Cb Group's story

Marcelline is a 56-year-old mother of seven children aged between seven and 25 years. Her husband is a farmer. For the past four years, she has been selling foodstuffs. Marcelline is the leader of the group named Abadahemuka Cb, which in English means “trusted people.” Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Marcelline will use her loan to buy beans and maize to meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she will be able to provide for the family and will also be able to provide school fees for the children. She is thankful for the support.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all the members, but Urwego was able to get one representative for the group photo.
