Wally Ndiral Pasteur Group's story

Kady is a married woman aged 48 years. She has a dependent child aged 7 years. Her husband is a farmer in the area. She is the president of the "Wally Ndiral Pasteur" group. Her group is made up of four women who are all active in trading on a small scale. They decided to set up their group to benefit from a loan to be able to develop their trading activity selling various items.

Kady herself is active in the fabric trade and also sells various items such as honey, shea butter, baobab fruit and she would like to buy her these items in Kédougou where her business is located.

Since her business is profitable, Kady plans to give herself the means of having a big shop to run her activity successfully.

In spite of the lack of funds, and sometimes the problem of merchandise selling slowly, she manages to make a profit which helps her to support her husband to cover the needs of their child; food, schooling, health and everything contributing to his well-being.

Kady has been in this business for 5 years with a secondary activity as catering for ceremonies.
