Ryskan's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy dairy cows to increase her sales of organic milk.

Ryskan's story

Ryskan has successfully repaid her previous loan, and is grateful to Kiva and to all who helped her with that financing. Her farm presently consists of three cows, five sheep, and a 0.8-hectare plot of land on which she grows potatoes. She plants potatoes and sainfoin every year, and sells what she produces.

In order to develop her business further, Ryskan has again turned to Bai Tushum Bank, this time for a loan of 150,000 som (KGS), to buy dairy cows. Her goal in this is to increase her organic milk sales and her livestock headcount. The income generated by the loan will help Ryskan provide her grandchildren with a high-quality education and improve her family's living conditions.
