Vamos Con Todo Las Piedras Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy farming supplies for maintaining two plots of chia.

Vamos Con Todo Las Piedras Group's story

Juan is 48 years old. He has been planting corn, beans, and chia for 35 years. Juan began working at a very early age by harvesting crops with his parents. He later became independent and looked to rent land that was suitable for planting. Since then, he has worked on his own and now cultivates on his own land. With his previous Kiva loan, Juan was able to buy needed farming supplies for his bean crops. By applying inputs in a timely manner, he was able to obtain good yields from his harvest.

Juan is applying for another Kiva loan from FUNDENUSE in order to buy supplies for maintaining two established plots of chia. His goals are to make improvements to his house, purchase more land, and acquire some animals (either cows or pigs) to improve his financial situation. He is a member of the solidarity group “Vamos con Todo Las Piedras” along with Benigno and Marlon, who also work in agriculture.
