Rafael Antonio's story

Rafael Antonio is a 25-year-old small business owner. He resides in the city of Cartagena de Indias, where he lives with his son and his wife, and where he also has a business selling groceries. Rafael started this business more than two years ago approximately. He started this business on his own initiative, and because of a desire to provide a better quality of life to his family and his son.

He started with some small savings and he has been able to position himself in the sector as a responsible and hardworking person. He offers his services daily and takes payment in cash and on credit to his main customers who are the neighboring and nearby stores. Because of sanitary reasons and orders from the government because of the Covid-19 pandemic, he had to suspend his work.

At the moment, he is applying for his first Kiva loan with the Santo Domingo Foundation thanks to the Cartagena Responds program to increase working capital and to buy supplies like vegetables by the package and fruit in bulk in order to increase the number of sales and the profits of the business. Support him with this business loan.
