Wariti Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on cookies, rice, and sugar, which will increase her startup capital.

Wariti Group's story

Mrs. Marie Jeanne is a Hekima IMF client who presides over the groupe villageoise "WARITI." She is a 58-year-old married mother of seven, four of whom go to school, and three of whom are independent. Her husband is an electrician.

She sells diverse products in her shop. She started this business 20 years ago with funds from her husband. Later, she incorporated the Hekima program to support her business, which overtime has been growing progressively. With this new loan, she is going to stock up on cookies, rice, and sugar, which will increase her startup capital. Her business' challenge is linked to the dollars' rates.

She would like for her children to continue going to school and that she feed her family. In the end, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they bring to unbankable business owners in the context of a global crisis linked to COVID-19. The photo is of just the group leader because of COVID-19 and respecting social distancing measures.
