Courage Group's story

Dorcase is a client of the microfinance institution Hekima and presides over the Courage groupe villageoise. She is married, thirty-eight years old and the mother of four children who all attend school. Her partner is a master mason.

She sells fruits and vegetables. She started this business ten years ago with start-up funds she received from her mother. Later she joined Hekima's program to support her business as it developed gradually. With this new loan, to stock up on banana leaves and other vegetables to strengthen her initial capital. She doesn't experience any problems with her business.

She would like her children to continue their studies and to buy a piece of land. Finally, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for supporting business owners without access to traditional banking services, especially during the global Covid-19 pandemic.
