Alleluya Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on 5 packages of salted fish, in order to reinforce her starting capital.

Alleluya Group's story

Madame Fitina is a client of the Hekima microfinance institution and oversees the Alleluya groupe villageoise. She is married, 58 years old, and the mother of 8 children who are all in school. Her spouse is a carpenter.

She sells salted fish and she started this business 10 years ago with funding received from her husband. Later, she joined the Hekima program to support her activity, which she was steadily growing. With a new loan, she will stock up on 5 packages of salted fish, which will reinforce her starting capital. The challenge she has in her business is with debts that aren't paid.

She would like for her children to continue their studies and she wants to finish the construction on her house. Lastly, she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they have provided to small business owners who aren't able to use traditional banks, especially in this global crisis due to COVID-19.
