Sauti Ya Wa Mama Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

Sauti Ya Wa Mama Group's story

Agnes is a Hekima IMF client and she leads the village group Sauti Ya Wa Mama. She is fifty-three years old and married with nine children, all of whom are in school. Her husband is a tailor.

She sells used clothing and milk. She started this business in 1986 with money she received from her husband. Later, she got involved with Hekima to support her business, which has steadily grown. With this new loan, she will buy one bundle of used clothing and some milk, which will grow her working capital. The main challenge she faces with her business is unpaid debts.

She would like for her children to continue their studies and to be able to feed her family. Finally, she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for supporting non-bankable business owners in the midst of the global Covid-19 crisis.
