A loan helped to purchase firewood, sawdust, and palm fibers, which are the materials they use to make the bricks.

Manuela Margarita's story

Manuela Margarita and her family live in Los Bajos de Montecristi, a place of humble people who work at the rural jobs and in making crafts, and a place greatly affected by COVID-19.

She is a very determined woman who has had to work hard to get ahead with her child, more so now with the health emergency with things being very difficult. They have a brick factory (a material used in building houses). There, her child works with 2 people who work with them. They work making bricks to then deliver them to merchandise, whether on site or they transport them by truck to deliver. They are still afraid of the pandemic, and hope that this improves soon.

This loan is to purchase firewood, sawdust, and palm fibers, which are the materials they use to make the bricks.
