Avec Endam Djidda Group's story

Mrs. Mariatou, aged 35, is married to a farmer and has 4 children who all go to school. She is the leader of the "Avec Endan Djidda" Group, which in the Peul language means "Union". This group consists of 14 women who are supportive of each other, committed and dynamic. Their dream is to see their children attend higher education institutions.

Their main business is raising sheep. Mrs. Mariatou buys the sheep in surrounding villages and resells them in the weekly markets in her village. With her earnings, she helps her husband meet the family's expenses, namely the children's education, sanitary expenses, food etc. This loan will allow her to develop her business and earn more profits. She wants to become independent in her business.
