A loan helped to renovate her old house.

Duoch's story

Duoch, a 24-year-old married woman, resides in the Chhuk district of Kampot province. She was born into an agricultural family and the farming business has been the main source of her income. She tries very hard to raise her child and provide a valuable education. With her many years of experience, Duoch is an expert in taking care of her rice crops and ensuring abundant harvests each year, except for the year of a big flood. She thinks about the challenges that lead to low yield due to pest and disease attack on cultivated crops and a poor level of mechanized agricultural activities. Product processing and storage, in order to meet these challenges becomes crucially important. Agricultural production is essential and a means of survival for her family members because it plays a great role in almost all aspects of their lives. Because of the shortage of her finances, she applied for a loan in the amount of KHR 8,000,000 to renovate her old house.

Currently, her roof is leaking and she needs zinc and cement to cover it. With the help of this loan, she will have enough funds to purchase construction supplies and pay labor costs. In the future, she wants to purchase a plot of land for agriculture and push her child to continue studying at university. She sends thanks to all lenders for helping and improving her family's living conditions.
