A loan helped for additional capital to buy dried fish.

Jocelyn's story

Jocelyn lives a simple dwelling in Abuyog, Leyte. She is 34 years old and has two dependents. Her partner in life works as driver to earn an income while Jocelyn sells dried fish. (Shown in the picture is a sack of dried fish).

Now she is asking for a loan of 13,000 PHP through Kiva’s field partner, CEV (a microfinance NGO) in the Philippines. She will use this loan for additional capital to buy dried fish.

Jocelyn wants to improve this business in the future and become productive.
