Divino Niño Jesus Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped buy starch, cheese, eggs, and other products.

Divino Niño Jesus Group's story

The Divino Niño Jesus Group was formed when friends and neighbors of the city of Ybycuí came together in search of a way to improve their quality of life and that of their loved ones. They are in their second cycle of the women's committee program.

Leonarda works making and selling chipas (cheese bread), which is a typical Paraguayan food. She says that her business has helped her provide the best to her family. She says that the crisis the world is going through because of the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic has prevented her from being able to work normally and generate the means to be able to help her family. It has also affected her sales.

She is requesting this loan to buy raw materials to make her chipas, such as starch, cheese, eggs, and other products, in order to continue with her work.

Note: This is a group loan even though only one person appears in the photo. A group photo was not taken in order to comply with Covid-19 restrictions prohibiting large gatherings.
