Thanh Yen 41 Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy baby chickens and animal feed for them.

Thanh Yen 41 Group's story

Chung is a 29-year-old ethnic Thai woman who is married and has two children. Her family lives in a traditional Thai stilt house in a remote village of Dien Bien province, where agriculture is the main income-generating activity of the locals. Her two children study in second primary school in grade 7 and grade 8.

Like other villagers, Chung works very hard at farming and breeding with several activities such as growing rice, buffaloes, and raising chickens. Besides, Chung's husband also works as a construction worker to earn extra income.

This is the third time she has taken out a loan from the Anh Chi Em program; her plan is to use that loan to buy baby chickens and animal feed for them. Chung hopes that those chickens will grow up fast and healthy so that the profits will come and she can use this income to support her children's education as well as continue to expand the breeding model.

Chung dreams that she can provide her children with a more abundant life with better living conditions and a better education so that they will have a brighter life.
