Kuña Guapa Group's story

The group called “Kuña Guapa”, in the city of Villarica, is in its seventh cycle in the program of the women's committee. It includes 15 women from the area who know each other. All have set the goal of being able to work together, in order to be able to continue helping their families to not go without necessities.

Carmen is one of the members of the group. She is a very self-sacrificing and hardworking person. She gets her children ahead with her daily effort and struggle, to give them a dignified future.

Carmen says that her work is modest; she sells spices. But she is not ashamed of what she does, because it is decent and honest work.

She requests this loan to invest in her work and to be able to buy a greater variety of spices, to be able to continue he work.

Note: Although there is only one person in the photo, this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo, to avoid gathering people during the Covid-19 pandemic.
