Las Emprendedoras Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy ingredients such as vegetables, meat, bread, chicken, etc.

Las Emprendedoras Group's story

This borrowing group is called Mujeres Emprendedoras (Women Entrepreneurs). It is comprised of women who are heads of household and spare no effort to build a better life for their families. They want their loved ones to enjoy what they never had.
The members report that they were affected by the covid-19 pandemic, but that they are doing what they can to make their businesses recover.
Salvadora, one of the members, is the president of the group. She sells food and drinks. She says that she wants to grow her business in order to keep supporting her family as she has been doing so far. She is happy to belong to the group, because she sees in it the opportunity to reach her goals.
She asks for the loan to buy ingredients such as vegetables, meat, bread, chicken, etc., to make meals to sell.
Note: there is only one person in the picture, but this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a picture of the whole group together because of pandemic-related restrictions.
