Luis's story

Luis is 40 years old, married, and a father of of four. He works as a fisherman in his village. Most of his daily income comes from selling the fish that he catches.

Luis has been doing this business for nine years now with his own working capital. He is busy working at his business every day, in order to earn enough money to support his family's everyday needs.

Luis has previously borrowed and repaid all of his loans on time and, now, is requesting a loan in the amount of of $1,400 USD through KIF to improve and expand his business.

Luis will use his loan funds to buy such essential items as trawling materials and fishing nets and, also, to repair his boat. Luis hopes to see an upswing in the amount of fish he can catch as a result of this investment, which will allow him to improve his earnings at the market.
